Pepê Beach
It is the continuation of Barra da Tijuca, well known for its a great place to play sports, and being attended by various artists. It is located near the shopping and business centers.
Both the name of the beach, as the avenue which is very close to shore, appeared in honor of businessman and sportsman, Pedro Paulo Carneiro Lopes Guise, the Pepe, beloved in the region who died in a paragliding accident. Worth it, go to the famous Tent Pepe and try the sandwiches.
When you go diving, it's attention is crucial, because the waters around there are quite lively, with strong waves, characteristics of the sea of bar that extends to the Pepe. Because of this, the beach is the point of surfers, is a suitable place for exercise and sport.
