Copacabana Beach
Located in Copacabana, Zona Sul of Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana Beach is the most famous beach in the city (perhaps even the country or the world) and has about 4 km. Among the hallmarks of Copacabana beach, is the sidewalk with waves drawn in Portuguese stone, designed by landscape artist Burle Max.
With usually calm waters and white sands, Copacabana Beach is great for family outings and relax watching the beautiful sunset, being much frequented by locals, as by tourists, who often do not require bathing in the sea for be just enjoying the beauty spot. Copacabana is a wonderful mix of city and ocean.
Close to Copacabana beach you can count on a complete infrastructure, serving both the residents of the neighborhood, as tourists from around the world who come to the beach all year.
